Pleasure Mapping

Conscious Genital Mapping Workshop

The most advanced way to explore and recognize the anatomy of pleasure.

Pleasure mapping is the process of recording the pleasure points on another person’s body. This procedure offers the opportunity to map all types of genitals. A deeper understanding of erotic sensitivities and how these sensitivities change over time (especially with arousal) is important for self-knowledge and sexual expansion.

This is a workshop you can attend alone or as a couple. If you come as a couple, the practice will be between you; if you come alone, you can find a partner at the venue or you will have the option of observing the practice.

About the Workshop

This intensive two-day workshop is designed to explore and deepen the connection with the body through conscious touch and genital mapping. Aimed at both professionals and individuals interested in personal development, this program offers a practical and transformative experience centered on the respectful and conscious exploration of the body, with a particular focus on the genitals.

This workshop will offer a combination of theory and practice, providing participants with valuable tools to apply in both their personal lives and their professional practice, particularly for therapists, massage therapists, and bodywork practitioners in general.

What to bring to the workshop?

You can arrive about 10 minutes early to settle in at your own pace. We’ll start promptly, and the session might run a little longer. You’ll need time to process the information. I encourage you not to schedule any other activities afterward.

For a complete experience, you’ll need to bring the following items (*required):

  • It’s a good idea to bring a small water bottle and something to snack on during breaks.
  • A sheet* to cover the massage mat. Keep in mind that it will be oiled, so please don’t bring the fine linens you’re saving for special nights. We may have two mats available per couple, so bring a double one just in case. A sheet is essential for hygiene; it’s a must-have.
  • Clothing to wear during the massage that allows for good movement and that can get oiled. The space is heated, but you might feel a little chilly. Bring fabrics or a second sheet to cover yourself during the massage in areas not being directly touched, but that can also be easily removed. Please don’t bring a comforter or blanket.
  • You can bring 3 small pillows (pregnant people can bring as many as they can).
Bring large bags to wrap the pillows and protect them from the oil.
  • Bring your own oil* for giving or receiving full-body massages. Remember, don’t add any essential oils, as these can also be used on mucous membranes.
  • A towel or roll of paper towels* is very useful for quickly cleaning up oil. When might you need it? If you’re receiving a massage and need to go to the bathroom quickly, or when you’re giving a massage and need to perform a technique that requires less oil on your hands to prevent slipping.
  • Hand hygiene is very important at all times. You can bring your own small bottle of hand sanitizer or regular alcohol.
  • Please keep your nails clean and short. Your partner will appreciate it. Optional: If you have a massage table, you can bring it and set it up for more comfortable work.
  • And most importantly: A big, open heart to give and receive.

Reviews

In the Genital Mapping workshop, we explored the pillars of Somatic Sexology and the principles of Sexological Bodywork. The workshop opened up space for exploring the sexual body, inviting the genitals to participate. We worked with different exercises where genital touch was welcomed from a place of respect, care, and awareness. I think it's incredibly important that these spaces exist where our entire body is welcome, accepting and inviting all the differences that make us who we are and all the layers of identity that can form a person. I'm also very grateful that there are professionals in the field of sexology, like Ale Karasik, who actively create learning spaces, providing information and tools so that everyone can resolve and work in a supported and conscious way, in order to feel more comfortable and secure in our bodies.
